Track and Field is important; however, understanding the basics of track and field as well as fitness and nutrition is equally important. PalmettoSpeed Track Club will have a seminar on track and field basics, nutrition, and fitness. There is a $20 registration fee, which will include refreshments and all materials. We thought you might like to know about a couple of “Free” Pole Vault Clinics that we have coming up this month. We will be having one in Greenville at Greenville High School on Sunday, September 21st from 1-4 PM, and one in Charleston at Charleston Southern University on Sunday, September 28th from 1-4 PM. These are to let everyone know that we will begin having regular weekly clinics in each city. The Greenville clinics will begin in October. However we are still working out the logistics in Charleston so we may see a slight delay there. I will keep you posted on each. Also, these clinics do not affect the Columbia clinics at Irmo High School. They will still be held as scheduled. The directions to each school will be online soon. To participate in the “Free”Pole Vault Clinics we must hear from you in advance to save you a spot.

Location: Richard E Tukey Theatre at the USC Upstate Campus, Spartanburg, SC

Tukey Theatre is located in the USC Upstate Library. When you are facing the front entrance to the library, it is around the right side. You enter the theatre from the exterior of the library.

Coming in on I-26, get on I-85 (not Business I-85) toward Charlotte. Exit off of Exit 72. If coming from the South (Greenville) turn right if coming from the North (Charlotte) turn left. Go to East Campus Blvd, exit and turn left at the light. Go past the pond and turn left on to University Drive. Follow the road around to the parking lot on your right. Park there and the library is across the grass area between the buildings.
